PassivTape is a strong, reinforced, flexible air barrier sealing tape with an aggressive adhesive that does not become brittle over time for longterm air barrier reliability.
PassivTape is European technology that:
Is free of solvents, emulsifiers, and has no other emulsion additives
Has been coated with a special, acrylic, moisture-resistant adhesive for application in temperatures as low as -10°C
Has a split release liner on 4” and 6” rolls and may be torn laterally for quick application
Has outstanding aging properties for long term air sealing and building durability
Provides great adhesion to most substrates (OSB/plywood, poly, building wrap etc.)
