Automotive glass fuses are cylindrical, glass-bodied fuses used for overcurrent protection of electrical systems in North American vehicles built before 1986. Also called AG fuses, these 32VDC fuses are typically mounted in in-line holders and clips. They are fast-acting (fast-blow) fuses that are highly sensitive to changes in current flow and open within seconds of being exposed to overloads and short circuits.
